Boston Olympics-specifically Soccer

Just thinking out loud. Who will the Olympics benefit f it comes to Boston. Certainly not me, I will not make any money from this month long host....

Certainty not the commuters that travel to Boston. They have to travel in that nightmare commute every working day , both North and south Shore.

Ant the expense----FU...Fish says it will be both Private and public $. Screw you....only the private sector will benefit from this shit storm. Let them pay for it.

Since I love tournaments i was thinking does New England have enough Stadiums to support a New England Olympic tournament.

Brazil is only using 5 venues so why not New England

1. Gillette Stadium   Foxborough      68,000
2. Harvard Stadium  Cambridge        54,000
3. Alumni Stadium    Brighton          44,500
4. Yale Bowl New Haven CT           61,000
5. Rentschler Field   Hartford            40,642

Starting in 2016 the Mens Soccer tournament will increase to 28 nations. Brazil which will host this expanded tournament will only have 5 venues. These venues are large in size, all over 50,000. (one is 48,234)
